Golden Days: Morocco
THE ROOTS
Let us take you to the real golden days — where it all began.
Before there was a studio, golden days was a love story that turned into a lifestyle brand. It was born from our time living together in Tamraght, Morocco — a little surf village along the Moroccan Atlantic Coast. This retreat is an invitation into the place, culture, and lifestyle of Golden Days. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Where We’ll Wander
❋ TAMRI
Sandboarding down golden dunes, a slow sunset over the Atlantic, and a bonfire to close the night.
❋ TRADITIONAL HAMMAM
Steam, scrub, rinse, and refresh. Traditionally, a ritual focused on spiritual purification, deep exfoliation, and community socializing. You’ll shed stress, eliminate impurities, and reveal incredibly soft, radiant skin.
❋ TAGHAZOUT SKATE PARK
Catch the vibe and a sunset of the Taghazout Skate Park, overlooking the Atlantic.
❋ SOUK EL HAD
Discover the local culture through colorful souks filled with handmade crafts, spices, traditional products, and Moroccan atmosphere.

Good to Know — Q&A
-
Your accommodation for all 7 nights, airport pick-up + drop-off, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, daily surf lessons, daily yoga and movement, and 5 guided excursions (Tamri, Souk El Had, the hammam, Paradise Valley, Taghazout skatepark). Essentially everything once you arrive in Morocco.
-
Flights are not included. The closest airport to Tamraght is Agadir–Al Massira (AGA), about a 30-minute drive from the retreat. Airport transfers from Agadir are included. This is the most convenient option and what we recommend if you’d like to keep travel simple.
That said, flights into Agadir can run higher, so a budget-friendly alternative is to fly into Marrakech (RAK) and take a bus down to Agadir (roughly 3–4 hours via companies like Supratours or CTM). An extra step, but it can meaningfully cut your airfare, and the drive down the coast is beautiful.
If you’re traveling from the U.S. or Canada, it’s also worth checking flights out of Toronto (YYZ) — depending on where you’re based, routing through Toronto sometimes offers better fares and connections to Morocco than U.S. departure cities.
Whichever you choose, plan to arrive in Tamraght by the afternoon of February 13th so you don’t miss our welcome gathering.
Once you've booked, we'll share all the details you need for a smooth arrival — and because Morocco is Hamza's home, he's happy to help you plan your route.
-
We strongly recommend travel insurance for every guest. It protects you in case of trip cancellation, medical needs, or unexpected travel disruptions, and gives everyone peace of mind to fully relax into the week.
-
While Morocco is family-friendly, all parties must be 18 or older for this retreat.
-
Absolutely. Both the surf lessons and the yoga and movement sessions are designed to welcome all levels. Whether you've never stood on a board or you're returning to the water, you'll be coached and supported at your own pace.
-
You'll fly into Agadir (AGA), or into Marrakech (RAK) + bus to Agadir, and from there it's a short transfer to Tamraght. Because Morocco is Hamza's home country, travel planning is seamless and getting around is effortless. You'll have access to Hamza for any support.
-
Yes — and authentically. With Hamza as your host, this is Morocco from the inside: real markets, real food, real connections, and the rhythms of local life. It's a homecoming we get to share with you, not a curated tourist version.
